 Vietnam is the host of this years Asian Mens Futsal Championship in Ho Chi Minh City, set to take place in late October.

  With preparations for the tournament in full force, anticipation for the competition could not be higher.

 The competition will bring together some of the best futsal talent from all around Asia, giving fans a chance to witness exceptional performances from teams from different countries.

  As host of the tournament, Vietnam will have a chance to show of their talent and strive towards being crowned champions.

 Just recently, a press conference was held by the Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF) in Ho Chi Minh City.

  The event provided additional details on the competition, and also provided an indication of the hype that is sure to follow the futsal tournament.

 VFF President Nguyễn Trọng Hùng said that the team will be commited to sure the best possible tournament.

  “We are proud to be hosting this years Asian Mens Futsal Championship," said Hung.

  “The competition is a great chance for us to showcase our talents and hopefully be crowned champions.

 ”Hung further added that the Vietnamese team has been working hard in preparation for the tournament, and everyone involved is excited to be able to witness some of the international talent in Ho Chi Minh City.

  The competition is split into two groups - Group A and Group B - and the teams were decided through the AFC qualifications for Futsal Membership Associations.

  Group A features four teams; Uzbekistan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal.

  Group B will be made up of five teams, Kuwait, South Korea, Japan, Macau and Iraq.

 Each team is to play four matches in the group stage, with the top two qualifying for the knockout stage.

  The knockout stage is set to run from October 23rd till the 25th, while the final of the tournament is to be played on October 26th.

  The tournament organizers revealed the grand prize of the tournament; a prize money of $250,000, which will be split between the winners, runners up and third placed teams.

 With the Asian Mens Futsal Championship just around the corner, its expected to be a great tournament for both the players and fans.

  The stage is set for an exciting competition, as teams from all around Asia will battle it out to prove who is the best in the field of futsal.

  The team from Vietnam is hoping to make the most of their home advantage and be crowned champions, to give their performance the bragging rights they all deserve.

  Hence, all eyes are set to be on Ho Chi Minh City when the competition kicks off, come October 23rd.
